Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? That shouldn't be too hard to figure out. It's SpongeBob SquarePants of course! The show dates back
to May 1, 1999, following Nickelodeon's annual award show, "Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards". Then made it's official debut on July 17, 1999.
The series suffered in ratings, but suprisingly Nick ordered a second season. From there, the series took off. And after the third season, the show
got a full-length movie in theathers. The movie was believed to be the finale to the show, but then a fourth season was ordered. The show's
quality was then showing a decrease. The cartoon is currently in its seventh season, and just experienced its tenth anniversary, months ago.

The story of the show sets place in an underwater suburban town, Bikini Bottom. The sponge of the show, SpongeBob SquarePants, lives in a
pineapple and worksat the Krusty Krab, as a fry cook. He has two neighbors, Patrick and Squidward, whom are also his friends. He has a large
amount of hobbies: working at the Krusty Krab, jellyfishing, trying for his boating license, karate, annoying Squidward, and lots of other comic
mischief. In addition, he owns a pet snell named Gary, that SpongeBob typically forgets to feed.

"Squidward, I used your clarinet to unclog my toilet!" ~ SpongeBob

"We can do without the name calling, thank you very much, Used Napkin!" ~ SpongeBob

"You just lost 3 points! 1...2...5! *blows bubble* G7!
G7? King me! King me! *CRASH!* I lose!
But it's not Tuesday, Patrick!

The star of the show, literally, is Patrick Star. Patrick is a starfish that lives under a rock, next to Squidward and SpongeBob. His best friend is
SpongeBob, and they both share a lot of the same hobbies together. Plus, he has worked at the Krusty Krab a few times, off and on. Patrick isn't
the brightest starfish, but he is a fun person to hang with.

Squidward Tentacles is an octopus, despite his name, that lives in a Easter Island home. He lives next to Patrick and SpongeBob, and is annoyed
by both of them. While not being annoyed by his neighbors, he is playing his clarinet and painting. He works at the Krusty Krab also, but hates it,
and he has to work with SpongeBob.

"You almost tore a guy's arm off for a penny." ~ Squidward

Eugene Krabs, also known as Mr. Krabs, is a crab that founded a resteraunt called the Krusty Krab. He is growing old, but he'll never grow tired
of loving money. And Mr. Krabs has an arch enemy, Plankton, who wants to steal his recipe for the lovable, sweet, delicious Krabby Patty.

"Hey fellas, what's going on? Heh, why'd ya lock the door? And why do you have that rope? WHO'S RUNNING THE CASH REGISTER?!!?" ~ Mr. Krabs

Plankton, Mr. Krab's arch enemy, owns his own resteraunt, the Chum Bucket. He experiences failure every day. He doesn't have any customers,
and he can't steal the Krabby Patty formula. His real name is Sheldon, and he has a wife named Karen.

"Wait, where'd you get that piano?" ~ Plankton

Sandy Cheeks, a squirrel, is best friends with SpongeBob, and has a thing for science and karate. She currently lives in a treedome, but she is
from Texas. Because she is a land squirrel, she has to wear a helmet, unless in her treedome.

"Well it may be stupid, but it's also dumb!" ~ Patrick

There are many other characters, but these will be the main ones you will see when you watch the show.
